I love watching YouTube, but it's hard to understand when it's in another language.
So, I will introduce how to summarize overseas YouTube videos and how to translate them into Korean.
How to summarize overseas YouTube videos
The first method is to use the AI summarization service Universal Summarizer.
First, go to https://labs.kagi.com/ai/sum. Then enter the YouTube link
Then click the "Summarize" button and wait for a few seconds to get the summary.
I'll explain how to translate it into Korean after I explain the second way to summarize.
The second way is to use the YouTube Summary with ChatGPT Chrome extension.
Install the YouTube Summary with ChatGPT Chrome Extension on your Chrome browser.
To use the YouTube Summary with ChatGPT Chrome extension, you need to sign up for Glasp and ChatGTP. You also need to have the [Glasp: Social Web Highlight & YouTube Summary] (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/glasp-social-web-highligh/blillmbchncajnhkjfdnincfndboieik/related) Chrome extension installed.
If you don't want to bother with this process, we recommend using the first method, Universal Summarizer.
If the YouTube Summary with ChatGPT Chrome extension is working, you should see an area on the right sidebar of the YouTube video that says "Transcript & Summary".
Click the expand button in the "Transcript & Summary" area to expand it.
Then click the "View Al Summary (Open New Tab)" icon button.
This will send the auto-generated transcript to ChatGPT and generate a summary.
Translate English to Korean
A better translator than Papago or Google: DeepL
https://www.deepl.com/en/app/
DeepL offers Chrome and Edge browser extensions and apps for most platforms. You can also use the translator on the web without installing the program.
If you have the DeepL Chrome extension installed, you'll see the DeepL translation icon at the bottom when you drag text.
Tap the translate icon and wait a moment, and a popup will appear, showing the translated text, as shown below.
For browsers or apps that don't support the extension, use the DeepL Mac or Windows app.
Drag the text you want to translate and then press the keyboard shortcut (Cmd + C) twice to launch the DeepL translation program and display the translated result.
Alternatively, you can use Papago and Google Translate.
